This Oak Parquet floor was previously completed by a handy man. The floor was left with
drum marks all over the floor and overlap lines from the stain. We repaired any loose blocks
before the sanding commenced.

The first stage is stripping off all of the dark stain and removing all of the deep sanding
marks. We do this by using a 40 bona abrasives grit on a Hummel belt sander with an
excellent dust extraction.

We have now finished sanding in this picture. Starting with a 40 grit on a Hummel belt
sander going upto 80 grit. Then we move onto a Bona Flex buffing/finishing machine. We
use a 80 grit moving up to 120 grit. Little Sutton Flooring Ltd do this to ensure the floor is
perfectly smooth.

Our highly skilled teams can match new blocks to existing. This fireplace was put in by using
Maple blocks while the rest of the floor is Oak blocks. We stained the maple blocks using a
variety of stains to make sure the colour match was perfect.

Finished in Juckers base prime and then 2 coats of Junckers HP Commercial Matt seal for
maximum protection. Beautiful grain shown throughout the Oak Parquet floor.
