Pine Floorboards stained with Morrells light fast antique pine stain the client chose this
colour as it is traditional and keeps the character. We apply this with wet rags and cut in
round the edge with a brush. After we then wipe off the excuse for a perfectly even finish.
Finishing off with 3 coats of junckers HP Commercial seal semi gloss.

The best way to tackle these pine Floor boards was to start sanding them on the diagonal
we do because it is the most aggressive way. We want the first cut to be aggressive so that
the boards will come flatter and the boards will come clean quicker. Starting with a 36 grit on the diagonal and then moving all the up to 100 grit following the grain for a lovely smooth finish.

Pine Floorboards are very common to find in most households in the Royal town of Sutton
Coldfield. Victoria pine Floor boards like the ones below are a thing of Beauty. The Floor
boards have been covered with carpet for many years and in need of sanding and re
sealing. The black round the edge is old bitumen where Victorian would part around the
carpet.
