This lovely traditional pine floor is over a 100 years old, which was cupped twisted and had
lots of loose boards. We fitted pine slithers throughout the whole floor to give a better
insulation and make the boards fit tighter together.

Plenty of sanding was required to level out the boards. By going cross grain with a 24 grit
sandpaper, the boards came lovely and flat. Then working our way up to 80 grit on the belt
sanders and finally moving on to the Bona flex buffing machine.

The floor speaks for itself full of character and age. Different tones of colour in the grain.
Finished in 3 coats of Commercial Matt seal.
